Has anyone tried these Rough Country or IAG Full Length rock slider steps

I am in the same boat as you. Looking to add a step to the rock rails but not sure on the size of the stirrups!

Yes my wife tried the NFab steps on our Truck and didn't like them. She wants a full board

We have a Badlands Sasq with the factory rails but my wife is just barely over 5ft and needs a step. I don't really want to take the factory rails off but there are limited solutions. She doesn't like the stirrup type steps she sailys they are too small. We are looking at the full IAG slide steps

The Rough country steps are cheaper by 300 dollars but replace the rails.
Curious on them if they will work as well or better than factory for off-road use.

The IAG seem very expensive for just sliding on the rock rails and say tested to 300 lbs which seems very low for a 4 door. They recommend taking them off for off road so no added side protection for the doors

I have the IAG steps, the first version they had which are individually mounted steps. I like them but they are NOT a rock slider or something that one could or should use off road, they are not intended for anything more than an aesthetic step…..and maybe prevent a door ding etc. This newer longer version is nice in that it’s the full length of the vehicle and also protects a little more than the single version I have, against rock chips etc. Overall the quality is very good, mounts easy, looks nice but should be removed the minute you tread off road where you might be hitting big rocks. Personal, I’d love it if IAG could make these into a full blown, put all the weight of a vehicle on it, looks like these current version, true rock slider. I’d buy them in a heartbeat!

All the other versions of rock sliders, from different manufacturers (work like real rock sliders) look ok, but for some reason are not as nice as the IAG product (aesthetically).

I have the IAG full step on 4dr. My wife is about 5-2 and she was able to get in without the step but feels they are the best upgrade I have made.
The step is a step and not a slider. They are a fairly easy install, and I would expect it to be easy to remove as needed. I have seen a bit of rust at a couple areas at seams so winter will be interesting. They seem sturdy and feel secure. The bump-out at the back (if installed that way) is nice for kids/grandkids to enter/exit. It could also be a platform to access a roof rack as needed. The steps also help limit door dings depending on the vehicle next door...

Are they sturdy enough to hold a couple heavy adults at once? They so good I think they are the best but was hoping to get one that doubles as an extension of the rock rails

I really like those they are a bit pricey for sure but look like the best option overall

Man love the Bronco design. And those doors. Do they feel very sturdy? Would you leave them on off-road for some extra protection or take them off?

They are huge and heavy!

I have the IAG (running boards) on my 2 Dr.
Great fit. “Seem plenty sturdy”.
Wider platform at the back for good roof access.
Easy on/off 10/15 min max.

Well I ended up ordering the IAG long steps, should be here in the next couple days.

I don’t know if you have a 2dr or 4dr but I’m selling a set that we have had installed for 3 months on our 2dr.
