Any suggestions for skids and rock sliders, you personally have or have seen, that you feel like are worth mentioning? Or some you have seen, that you would not recommend as well.....Pics of them on the Bronco appreciated.

Thank you!!

I was gonna start a similar thread after I saw some chevy cuv next door (body shop) with it's u-joint bracket messed up and other issue.

Whatever is needed, wanna protect it all underneath, so skid plates and armor galore

Worth considering is a protection for the catalytic converter which are very expensive. Unprotected, they're vulnerable to trail damage--and theft.

Your friend has a point! Maybe I'll cut it out, put in a tail pipe, and keep the catalytic converter in the basement. Bring it out once a year for vehicle inspection. The loss in weight will offset some of that expensive and heavy gear we keep adding on. We're brilliant!

Some people actually do that, hold onto their cats and swap em back in for emissions

Im more partial to High Flow Cats

I wonder how much horsepower gain there is.
There's another thread (other board, perhaps?) about premium gas. I'm experimenting with it, and am 1.5 tankfuls into it. No improvement in mileage, not sure about power.

Next to a tune, turbo 4bangers make a lot of power with going catless or hfc, and the difference between the two is generally 5hp, smell and depending on the state, passing emissions

It’ll be raspier but wont drone, and youll get more spool and turbo noises. Im not fond of full exhausts, so unless I can find a low drone option, I stick to downpipes over catbacks and axlebacks

As far as gas, definitely a difference, 30hp for starters. She hasnt had regular since she got off the truck
