Bringing this back up. Are you still pleased with the AR steps?
I am so very happy with mine - I'm old, short, and have a bad right hip and my SAS'd Badlands is my daily driver, so this step (or stirrup) is a game changer for me. It only took Mr.
@Darrel a few minutes to take off and put back on when I took it wheeling a couple of weeks ago. I do want to say that the clamps have lost their annodization or something. They have turned a bronze color. But, with the Cactus Gray and it being a Badlands, I'm not made at that - the step has stayed black. But, others could be very unhappy with that. They are also making a step for the 2 door and 4 door, that clamps onto the rock rails - they go from flare to flare - rather than just a small step that fits one foot. This would be very helpful in reaching the top - taking on and off, or just flopping back the soft top, or if you have a hard top with the rails and load stuff up on the top. IAG also makes the same thing - I have seen them in person, but have not held them, touched them or used them - so I can't speak to how the quality compares with AR. But, I have not seen any complaints either - on either AR or IAG.
