Any other New Mexico Bronco buyers looking to start up a New Mexico Bronco Nation club? If you are at all interested let me know and I will start setting up a little more formal of a club. We have some beautiful 4X4 locations here in our state and we could probably host some awesome events.

Its a small community along I491 between Tohatchi and Sheepsprings, but for town references in between Gallup and Shiprock route.

The name Naschitti came to be from I'm guessing the misspelling or difference in pronunciation of the Navajo word NA-HASH-CHID meaning Badger. Which the story goes is a badger that was digging for shelter or for food, but instead dug up water, to form the settlement around to become the small community that was founded and established in 1893.

I've only been on I491 from Gallup going up to Shiprock when we went to Canyon de Chilley - hope I spelled that correctly. But, it was dark by the time we were going through there and I491 was route 666 back then too.

Exactly ha, I still question if the name change had any effect on anything as far as things that go bump in the night or weird happenings, just feels the same ha. But yeah if you blink you'll probably miss us, for most its pretty boring but I like to roam and explore that the desert to the East and Mountain terrain to the West and the stars in the sky are all I need, and well obviously the bronco.

It's the simple things in life - and a Bronco!

The parking lot. Brew Lab 101 is in a strip shopping Center off Southern. Behind the Arby's. I plan on being there by 1:30 or so. They have a patio and a glass store front. We will be able to see Broncos pulling in and will try to go out and meet them. I will have close on that have the word Bronco on them. You won't be pulling up in a Bronco. But, I may recognize you from the BN Zoom Block Party in July. And, I think you're in a stinkin Lincoln (sorry, I do like Lincolns). Will that work for everyone? I am open for suggestions. I can't wait! I really enjoy talking to other Bronco peeps!

What trail(s) did you do? I love SNF! Blow hole, old Route 66 and McMillan Pass are my faves!

I happy you're able to make it! Love your Wildtrak! Do you do Facebook? There is a club started there. They say I'm added, but we just got home. Trying to post pics everywhere and let my family know about my Aunts passing this morning and setting up a new TV that we had to buy this morning (1 TV family).

Oh goodness I’m such a noob I didn’t think to make note of that. We were coming out of Bandelier and headed up the hill to Jemez Springs and there were these couple of trails off the side of the road. By the way, my sympathies regarding your aunt’s passing. Very sorry to hear that.

I have never been off road in that area. But, I do like the drive on Hwy 4. I have been way south of there on the west side of Hwy 4. Thank you for your sympathies!

It was a lot of fun meeting everyone! So worth the effort, which really wasn't too much - would have been less if I could have kept my Saturday's straight. Hoping to do something in the Puerco really soon. @Mal, we have room for you, the wife and the kids if you're interested in going - whenever I finally decide on a date.

Would anyone be interested in a trail ride in the Puero either the the 25th or 26th? Or, would it be better the 19th or Dec 3rd? Please give me some feed back, it will help me commit to a date.

The Puerco is at the end of Southern. We could meet up about 8:30 somewhere on Southern - where people could get some breakfast and use a restroom. Head out there about 8:45 and then air down when we get out there. There is a little bit of fun to get over the sand dunes and into the Puerco. Then there are a lot of play areas - those that want to play can and those that don't can watch. There are some rocky areas and some sandy hills and a lot of arroyo. Please let me hear from you if you have any interest in taking your Bronco off pavement. All Bronco's will be invited. And, if you have Jeep or Toyota (or anything else) buddies that want to come, I will not turn them away!

I am available all those days and think a meet up and early winter trail ride would be awesome. If I haven’t managed to acquire a compressor by then hopefully someone will help me out with airing back up afterwards lol
