Do we have any other members in this group from Idaho? I am from Nampa and looking for other Bronco owners to go out on some off road adventures with. I have a Badlands non-saquatch.

Does anyone know any good scenic mountain roads/offroad trails outside the Yakima/Ellensburg area? I've done Russell Ridge just south of Rimrock before a couple of years back, but I'm curious if there are any other good ones near me.

Take I-90 west from Ellensburg and then Hwy. 97 north toward Leavenworth. On the way up to Blewett Pass, there are lots of Forest Service roads you can take, both east and west off the highway and explore miles of trails. You'll want to fill up the tank in CleElum. You will find lots of mud and snow to play in this time of year! If you wait until summer they are just gravel roads and very scenic but you will still need 4 wheel drive on some of the side trails. Have fun!

One of my favorite overlooks of Rimrock lake/Kloochman Rock is at Jump Off Lookout. Take highway 12 from Yakima go towards Rimrock Lake just passed Windy Point Campground take forest road 1302 to the top. I believe it is about 13 miles off of hwy 12. You gain elevation to about 5700 ft. It is a fire lookout and it’s pretty amazing.

Great site! Looks like I only able to filter on the trail type (Off road, walking, hiking, etc). Is there a way to filter for or can anyone recommend a good trail for fast speed off-roading?

Unless you go out into the desert, probably not. Forest roads are too sketchy there might always be someone coming the other way. Look into Dirtfish, they have Rally X that you so you can safely flog your ride. :)

There are several of those in our group. We're getting close to 300 members now. I was meeting up with another member to buy parts. We offered to others the chance to drop in and say hey at the last minute. A few of them did. :) Just no Orange ones.
