What did you do to your Bronco today?

Got a picture of mine at ‘daycare’ (a.k.a. waiting lot for paint work, tint and stickers) playing nicely with a Raptor and F-150. She’s standing tall next to that Raptor!

And….got the call from my salesman to let me know my new soft top came in! Win!!

They are actually painting it carbonized grey (I know it was already MIC, but will match a bit better now). They have done a few others and it looks great. I am also having custom paint done to my Oracle 'Bronco' lettering, along with a few other things. There is a custom shop affiliated with my dealer that is doing all of the work for me. I have a few things that I will still need to do myself once I bring her home, but they are doing all of the big stuff for me.

Thats the Archetype Racing Dash Rail. Their stuff is pricey but well designed and made.

Has anyone come up with something to replace the console grab handle that is usable? I ordered the cover from the Base Model for mine as I don't think it is of any benefit as if a passenger would hold on to it and bounce their face off the Dash.

So it is helpful? I am still waiting for mine. I like the openness of the Base Model interior.

What did I do to my Bronco today? Got a VIN number for my Raptor and scheduled build week of Dec 5. Was beginning to think it would never happen.

Installed a Bull Bar and wired up a few more lights.

Red recovery shackles, archetype stirrup steps, and tube doors.

got my accessory rail installed the other day along with phone mount, and today installed the ZROADZ pocket light kit, with 2 pairs wired up to the aux switch, and I'll wire up the 3rd pair to the foglight button when I get the adapter plug

I love everything you've done. Especially curious about the Archetype Racing stirrups. I want the silver and black finish ones for my Bronco, but I want to be sure they don't twist or warp the factory rock rails. Have you noticed any flexing?

Stirrup Steps

Well I just got them and I stalled them yesterday. I needed something for 5'3 Mrs @tlowell01. They are really sturdy and don't seem the put any particular stress on the rock rails. The installation instructions explicitly tell you to mount them up against the edge of rock rail bracket, so it's the strongest point on the rail.

Ordered some Rough Country pillar lights. Will install this next weekend.

Removed my factory roof rails to see if it had any effect on wind noise or MPG. When doing solo I highly recommend taking it apart and removing in 4 pieces, also easier to store in a corner this way. Also took the front roof panels of and practiced putting them in the storage bag. Was just barely warm enough for a cruise to town with the front open. On my 2 door lots of buffeting and deflection of the front edge of the rear hardtop at speeds above 55. Definitely not a good configuration for long highway driving. Hoping I can acquire some type of free standing lift for the hardtop before next summer. Having a gravel driveway and no garage limits options for one person hardtop removal.
