What did you do to your Bronco today?

Installed my ARB twin with the Grimm off road bracket in my 2.3 BD. Wired the power to the ARB switch from aux 6 as extra insurance that the compressor will only run when the truck is running.

How difficult was the install with that bracket? I like the layout but an installation video I watched appeared to be rather labor intensive.

It wasn’t bad but does take time and patience. Getting the three factory bolts from the PCM bracket and the upper support brace in is a PITA. Definitely requires a ratcheting wrench, and if you have big hands may not even be possible to get the lower one of the three in. And dropping bolts leads to a fun game of “did it hit the ground or is it in the skid plate?” Completely removing the inner fender liner may make access easier but I didn’t think of that until I was done. I didn’t like how the other mounting options put the compressor hanging out directly over the turbo, can’t imagine that extra heat soaking will be good for it over time.

I didn’t “do“ anything to it today but this little gem came today for future endeavor.

I got a chance to see how well Bronka serves to haul the family up to our place in Williams.
Three dog crates (including a big one hidden behind the 2x4), three dog beds, two suitcases, a tripod, a backpack, my emergency bag, two traction mats, all the dog stuff, bags of groceries, and of course, my Wife and I and the three dogs. And, there was plenty of room left over.

Added the Mabett door pockets today. Super easy install that only took 5 min per side. Looks like it doubled the storage area! Great product!!

Was finally able to find some time to install my grab handles and Mabett front cup holders. So far I really like them. They add a good amount of storage and don’t interfere at all with my legs or feet.

Installed the TrailRax roof rack with 40” cut out for the light bar. I was invited to go off-roading today so I didn’t get the side racks and 40” light bar installed. Those will be installed tomorrow.
