Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Installed the ARB twin compressor under the hood, ran the wiring and it's 95% done ... just didn't have the 8awg terminals to connect it to the battery - so I'll pick those up tomorrow and get it done. Also, this weekend, installed the pocket lights in the modular bumper

Just pulled off the stock struts, waiting on the Eibachs which should be here tomorrow. Not bad at all, but it helps having a lift!

Just latest pics, just had it ceramic coated. She look different in different light. Saturday RoxBlox mud flaps and the hydraulic hood hinges.
Lots of little things like the vinyl on my tailgate Ford logo to match all the Black and Blue motif. Gosh still kicking myself in the head for not ordering the rock rails. Will call the dealership and get an order put in for those as I already have the rock rail steps but no rock rails
Looks great! I just got mine back with vintage paint.

Today, I installed the optional headlight switch with front and rear foglight buttons, and ran the front foglight wires to the innermost foglights I installed in the bumper, and got them activated through Forscan
here's the new switch, retaining all my puddle light and dimmer functionality, with buttons for front and rear fog lights.

Here's the front foglights activated with the foglight switch (small victory!)
IMG_7738.JPG
Here's the remaining lights activated with the Aux3 switch:
IMG_7739.JPG

also arrived in the mail today, all new speakers to replace the B&O speakers, as well as the Stinger sub and amp for the tailgate.. might get around to some of that this weekend.. we'll see how motivated I feel.

Loving that headlight switch change out. Where did you pick it up at?

Thanks - got it from Tasca - there are various options depending on what your bronco does/doesn't have and whether you want both front/rear foglights or just front. there are some good links on the 'other' forum with part numbers and specifics

Nice job. At one point I was thinking about doing this and then never got around to ordering the switch.
Here are a few part numbers. Prices are reasonable.

Technically it was during this past week, not today, but I finally got around to dropping the rear bumper to straighten the alignment and whole it was off I installed the hitch assembly. I picked one up from Snailfly on Amazon, because it was cheaper than the Curt product and it also had the wiring mount attached to it(not the actual wiring itself).
It's pretty beefy and well made, went on super easy.
Then I installed the Küat Pivot for my bike rack(today that goes on), so the whole thing can swing to the passenger side in order to access the tailgate. Pretty neat, and well made. The price tag definitely matches the quality.?
Next up I installed the GoRhino RB20 sidesteps. I wanted these initially but shopped for a cheaper alternative and picked up the TAC sidesteps for $169. Great price and pretty nicely built, but once I had one side on, I felt they didn't extend out far enough to get good footing or protect very well from door dings. So back they went.
The RB20'S are pretty solid and they come out quite a bit, but ironically it's taking some time remembering that they're there! I keep forgetting to use them!
Go t a good price on Amazon, $480+tax and free shipping. I think $520 total. Substantial difference from their direct website. Included are some pics of the TAC's as well just in case anyone was considering them. The other thing I'll mention about them is that they have a plastic add-on where your foot lands, and I was nervous about how long they would hold up in the California heat. The sun destroys everything out here, haha. They might need replacing eventually.
Hope this helps somebody with their mid choices, I know there have been plenty of these product postings but it's good to have them in a recent thread, I think!
I'll try to post links too! Enjoy your builds!

Today - swapped out most of the speakers - the only ones left to do are the kick panel speakers. I tried to give the B&O speakers a fair shot, and considering that I'm deaf in one ear and partially deaf in the other - I'm no audiophile - but the stock speakers in the B&O system are legitimately NOT good. replaced the dash speakers with some JL Audio C1-400's, and some Focal audio speakers in the rear roll bar locations. Kick panel speakers will be done tomorrow (JL Audio C1-650X). Then went out for a drive up to the hills.

Thanks - we JUST started getting some moisture up here in Northern CA - it remained mostly dry in Sacramento, but when I went up into the hills, that's where I started getting some of the rain and fog - which made me happy - I knew it would help for some cooler photos! Headed further up the hill today to see if I can find some snow to play in

Just finished installing the kick panel speakers... man, those were a PITA!!! So now the next thing to do is to install the Stinger tailgate mounted sub and amp, and disconnect that garbage B&O subwoofer .. that might take a week or two for me to find time to do though

Went out for another drive today - up to Mormon Emigrant Trail (known as "MET" locally) - up in the Sierra's - about 6k feet altitude. Some recent snow had things nice and pretty, and a little muddy - PERFECT.

Thanks so much - I am an automotive photographer, so this is kinda my niche. I'm using a Sony A7RIII with Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 Gmaster lens and Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 Gmaster lens, both with B&W Circular Polarizer filters on them. I do my editing in both Photoshop and Lightroom.

So how it is sounding with just the speaker changes? I have no idea how to wire a new sub and amp but very interested in changing out the speakers.

I’m going to wait to see how the stereo sounds before pricing upgraded speakers. Voice lessons may be cheaper. If I can’t afford new speakers, I’ll have to learn how to sing better.
