What did you do to your Bronco today?

@radar3d: Yes I did, that’s mostly what’s holding me up is having to remove the rear roof piece.
I took the bolts out that hold the rear part of the top and just lifted it up enough to put a 4x4 between the roll bar and the top. Installed the lower brackets and dropped the top back in place. Then bolted it back down.

Installed the TrailRax roof rack with 40” cut out for the light bar. I was invited to go off-roading today so I didn’t get the side racks and 40” light bar installed. Those will be installed tomorrow.

How big a deal was it to install the side racks after you installed the roof rack? Love the pics by the way and I see y'all are getting hammered with rain and winds.

Ordered the gas struts for the soft top by 21 Offroad at stickerfab. I've been wanting the IG easy lift ones, almost bought them over Christmas, glad I waited, these ones lift on their own and they are on sale 50% off right now. I'm hoping they work out as good as I want them to.

How big a deal was it to install the side racks after you installed the roof rack? Love the pics by the way and I see y'all are getting hammered with rain and winds.

You have to take the back top off to put the side racks on. Side rack bottoms go under the back top.

You “might” be able to lift the back top 3-4” and install the bottom braces for the side racks.

Put the foam seal as close to the bend on the bottom bracket as possible. I almost wish I would have put it on the bend. Play around with it to be certain where you want it .

I also tried Corsa to match my exhaust, They said as soon as I put my CALI address I would get kicked.

Saturday I'm getting my lights put on.

I was facing the classic dilemma of "Free work but whenever they get around to it" vs "Pay for it but get it done asap". It shouldn't be too much to do

Got these done today, love them, although I think they didnt realize the blue wire was for the backlighting.
Also, they threw in the mirror tap for my radar detector for free, just gotta install it later.

What a great Saturday so far :)

Well… I did THIS to my Bronco today…

Built Wild… STAY Wild

Started my ARB compressor install last night, and finished wiring and zip ties today. Pre install, bracket and compressor installation and then wiring was right at two hours. There was a zip tie for a harness relocation next to the support brace that was a complete pain in the ass. I spent 15 minutes just on that one. Otherwise not bad.

Finally put together a video for my simple Pinch Weld Seam cover I installed. I really like how the simple product cleans up the unfinished appearance of the lower pinch seam. The product is by JcrOffroad. (I am not sponsored or given the product. I just like putting together videos for products I like)

How is the wind noise on the Kc bar? This light bar is in my plan

Its not too bad but then again I'm alittle partial in wanting to go with this style. I hardly seen it on others and this is my first time having a lightbar on a vehicle ever so I have no regrets only positive things. From 85 to 91 MPH I'll get whistles like chirps or sounds like a marker and anything down to 55 mph I'll get one every once in a while. So my hour commutes are usually are with music set at 15 volume. Overall I freaking love it.
